James has over 14 years’ advertising and media experience, from the multi-national advertising agency world, to co-founding and building advertising companies, both ‘traditional’ and online.

James started his career working in advertising agencies such as Publicis, J.Walter Thompson and Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe - which was acquired in 1997 by Young & Rubicam - where he created award-winning campaigns for brands of all size and budget, such as Virgin, HP, Ford,Nintendo and Guinness. Most notably, James created the advertising strategy and campaign that launched Coca-Cola to the Russian market in 1995, and in 1998 was named as a 'Face to Watch' by Campaign Magazine.

In2000, James joined the founding team of Espotting, the company that introduced search marketing and the pay-per-click advertising model to Europe. James was responsible for the company’s overall strategic vision and revenue execution, initially building a team of 83 Editors that were purely responsible for revenue growth through ad content. During James’s time at Espotting, the company won a host of industry awards as it grew to 221 staff in 8 European territories and with annual revenues in excess of $260m, including ‘FT’s Top 50 Creative Businesses’ and ‘UK’s Most Dynamic Media Company’.

Espotting was acquired by US-based Find what for $187m in July 2004.

CEO of Litelogic since early 2006, James is responsible for the long-term strategic vision of the company, as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business. In April 2008, James was listed in The Sunday Times’ ‘Top 40 Under 40’ in the Media industry.

James has a BA Hons in Advertising & Communications from Bristol.
